cheddar rebellion: one day longer
Apr. 8th, 2011 07:04 amWell, technically quite a lot more than just one day longer, but it's one day at a time, at least.
The election drama of the past two or three days is nearly enough to give me an ulcer. Ugh! This's going to be in a recount snarl for a month. Better it's as close as it is than it being an obvious win for Prosser, I suppose. Doesn't make it any less nervewracking on this end, though. On the bright side, we have ourselves a triggered Hopper recall as of yesterday. That's two of eight, and more presumably on the way. I admit I've had a few moments of warm fuzzy 'that's my home territory!' reaction during all this Hopper recall activity, especially when news broke that they'd gotten fifty percent more signatures than they needed to trigger the thing. Go, marsh country! Ahem. :)
I seriously have to update about something other than union protests here at some point. I will, honestly. ... Soonish. Heh. For now, I'm drinking coffee and gradually waking up. And trying to get this song out of my head! XD
